Jade Harron is a kind woman who sees the good in everyone and everything. She loves cute things (especially cats) and drawing cute things, and also wants to help anyone as much as she can, sometimes even to the detriment of herself. On an unrelated note, Jade is trans and aromantic/asexual.
At first glance, Jade seems a bit timid and maybe even awkward, and doesn't really make eye contact very often. But if she knows you at all, she will quickly open up and show herself to be not as shy as initially assumed. In fact, Jade is the kind of person who would cheer you up, even in hard times. She can be very understanding, even towards anyone for who most people would easily resent or get frustrated by, and is more than willing to actively hear you out if you have something. But Jade can also be a bit clingy towards people she likes, and she is also very sensitive to even light criticism. Jade talks in a noticeably formal and verbose manner, but is also very polite. She loves to hug and cuddle people she’s very close with. Jade hates being treated like a naive child, but she doesn't really express it, even when it bothers her a lot.
However, Jade is hiding something behind her. She is troubled by intrusive thoughts and images of a particularly disturbing nature, and feels strong guilt and shame for having these thoughts. As a result, Jade copes by trying to do as much good as she can, regardless of whose receiving it. Her usual smiling, optimistic outlook, and unconditional kindness are some of the manifestations of this. However, Jade is busy with her life, which takes away her ability to go out and help people, which makes her feel even more guilty. Sometimes, the extreme stress can cause Jade to pull out her arm hair (even resorting to scratching off her skin due to keratosis pilaris), causing scars and wounds all over her arms. As a result, she wears long sleeves to hide her scars.
Jade used to be genuinely passionate in fighting for what she believes is right. Hearing and seeing all the injustices and evil in the world motivated Jade into that passion. However, years of constant exposure to the cruelty of the world has made her depressed about the state of the world. As a result, she refuses to talk about world or local problems at all, instead preferring escapism as an approach. Despite that, she still tries to do what is right, if only out of guilt and as a way to escape her intrusive thoughts.
Jade has long brown hair, fair skin, and olive green eyes. She is 174 cm / 5'9" tall, weighs around 78 kg / 172 lb, and is 19 years old. Jade is of Palestinian and Sephardic Jewish descent. She has severe vision impairment and would’ve been legally blind if not for her glasses. She usually wears a sun hat, thick round glasses, a white hoodie with long sleeves (to hide her scars), a pastel green skirt, and slip-on shoes; her preferred color is pastel green. Sometimes, Jade has messy medium-length hair with a pair of short pigtails on the back.
